There is another very pretty route from Minehead/Dunster via Nutcombe Bottom but the road is very narrow and twisty with few passing places and fewer signposts.  Should you decide to take this route, take care.

Fork Left towards Nutcombe Bottom soon after leaving Dunster.  Follow the road to Luxborough - a few miles.
Eventually you will come to a bendy section between farm buildings.
Now you find a sharp left bend on a short steep climb (you will see a bungalow on your left after the bend).
Soon there is a sharp right bend with Bridleway track on the left.
A few yards after this, fork LEFT at the triangle with Beech Trees.
Stay on this road to the bottom of the valley, past the Royal Oak Inn,
Turn RIGHT over Kingsbridge and the village hall and car park (with honesty box for upkeep) will be found on your right.

If you reach a staggered cross roads called 'Couple Cross' you have missed the fork to the left at the Beech Trees - retrace your steps and fork RIGHT this time at the Beech Trees triangle.
